That means if you have a problem with your iPhone, you'll have to wipe it and revert back to iOS 16 before an Apple Store or authorized repair shop will look at it. Keep in mind, though, that just because Apple is no longer charging for access to early developer betas, they're still intended only for “devices dedicated for iOS 17 beta software development.” That means it's not a good idea to install a developer beta on your primary device unless you're fully prepared to deal with any potential problems - and Apple's warranty doesn't cover devices running betas, either. However, it looks like the company has changed that up this year, making the iOS 17 Developer Beta available to anybody with an Apple ID.
